The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run is a global relay seeking
to inspire the creation of a more peaceful world. As a symbol of peace and
harmony, runners carry a flaming torch, passing it from hand to hand, heart to
heart.
The 2019 Southern Hemisphere Peace Run arrives in New Zealand in
March and will travel from Cape Reinga to the Bluff and Stewart Island before
visiting the Pacific Islands and then going on to South America.
We were lucky enough for the torch to come to Waimea Intermediate. Here are the photos of the day, and our artwork which will travel to Rome to be displayed there.
