Growing mould on bread

With Miss Omundsen (Our student teacher), we went over to the Science Room to do an experiment.
The students were finding out if moisture makes a difference to mould growth.
Last week, they were looking at the right to a warm dry home, as they had identifying that many New Zelanders are living in unhealthy, disgusting, damp homes.
There was a bit of excitement as Harry's group tried to dry their bread in the microwave, and smoke started coming out.

Finlay predicts the damp bread will produce the most mould as the temperature and moisture will make the mould grow more quickly.

Can you spot the burnt bread in the photo?
