Brigadeiro

Today we found out about a traditional Brazilian sweet called Brigadeiro, which is like a chocolate ball. Children make and eat these at birthday parties and on children's day. It is a special tradition that Miss B fiance Vanderley continues to do here in New Zealand, this remind him of Brazil and his childhood growing up there.

This is what you do once you have made it (Vanderley made it for us at home)

First, you rub a bit of butter on to your hands.

Then, you take a teaspoon of chocolate and roll it in a ball between your hands.

Lastly, you can add some shredded coconut into your hand and roll it around the outside of the chocolate.

The best part is eating it!!!

It is so good you try hard to get seconds!!!

If you would like the recipe to make this at home, here is the link in English

So what did you think???
