Athletics Day

On the 13th of November it was a scorching hot day, Waimea Intermediate had their legendary Athletics Day.
Room 2 had a lot of successes. Tori, Madi, Jordy, Caleb Y and Mitchell were all in the track finals. A big congratulations to our very own Jaeger who won the 60 meter track event. Even though some of us didn’t make it into grandstand we all tried our hardest just like our relay team that came 4th. All in all, we were all happy about our performances. The whole of room 2 felt like winners by home time.

    I was very impressed Jordy that you were in ALL track finals, 1500m,800m, 400m, 100m and 60m!! What a fantastic achievement!! I am very proud of you too!! Miss B

    I'm quite suprised I managed to get to the inter-schools for 60m, 100m, and the 100m relays. Jaeger
