Last week Room 10 completed their own stream monitoring of our local river. We started at the sea, by the ASB aquatic center and following the stream up to Walsh Park. We completed 4 different assessments, looking at the clarity, temperature, flow, human impact and creatures in the stream. We observed that the sea area was in very poor conditions, as was our second stop near the pools. As we walk further up, the stream got clearer and more creatures were found. Our next job is to think about what we can do to improve the water quality near the sea. Check out the photos of our trip...

Miss Omundsen has been doing body percussion with Room 10. Students had to produce a rhythm that included some of the 5 body percussion; CLAP, STOMP, CLICK, CHEST, MOUTH.
They share these last week to the class. Having Kaboom was such an inspiration.
