NZ Get Writing

Over the last two weeks, Room 10 has been filling in this poster, which is destined for St. Joseph's School in Pukekohe, Auckland. Tomorrow we send it off, and we early wait to receive their poster and postcards that they have written for us.
I am very proud of all the effort Room 10 put into this, and it was lots of fun making it.

Reading Groups

This week we finally got our reading rotation up and running.
Students go through 4 activities in the week, including a small group working with the teacher.
This weeks focus is on summarising.
We know good readers can locate key words, ideas and sentences when helping then to summarise the main ideas.
