Refugee Camps

We have been writing descriptive sentences describing what we think refugee camps might be like based this photo we looked at.

Here are some examples:

Refugee camps houses are made out of old ragged sheets, blankets or whatever else they could find. Philip

Refugee camps are full of rubbish flying everywhere, it’s as dry as a crisp and the harmful rays of the sun beat down on the people all day. Xavier

The smell of it is so terrible it is like sticking your head in the toilet. Josh.B

The camps are not roomy at all and are coated with handmade small tents, with dirty cloths and many people crowd into them to get to the shade. Lauren

The stench is revolting. Laura

  4. Great descriptions guys especially Lauren's. Although there might be laughter because kids might actually be happy with what they have.
