Camp update

The journey down to Hanmer was awesome, kids were all fantastic and no one was sick, which is a bonus!! It is quite chilly in Hanmer, today's outside temp is 11 degrees. No tears or homesick kids, as they enjoyed a long soak and hydroslides last night. The students are doing rock climbing, mountain biking and the Hanmer Hunt. The first rotation is underway as I send this quick update.
Here are a few pics so far, I am sure some students would love to see their parents make a comment!! HINT HINT

Nikau Syndicate Walk

In preparation for our camps, Nikau syndicate walked up the Richmond Hills on Monday. It was a test of their fitness, and I was very impressed with their efforts!! I think we made it to the lookout in record time.
It was a positive start for our syndicate, as we saw many happy and positive interactions.
Ka Pai for a very enjoyable walk. I cannot wait for all the adventures on camp.
What did you enjoy about the walk?
Great spot for morning tea
