Sea to Source

Last week Room 10 completed their own stream monitoring of our local river. We started at the sea, by the ASB aquatic center and following the stream up to Walsh Park. We completed 4 different assessments, looking at the clarity, temperature, flow, human impact and creatures in the stream. We observed that the sea area was in very poor conditions, as was our second stop near the pools. As we walk further up, the stream got clearer and more creatures were found.
